Join us for our interactive discussion event

‘#share #like #tweet | Your Employees and Social Media’ Tuesday 19th September 2017, 08.30 – 10.00 at KIMS Hospital, Maidstone ME14 5FT.

Social media and its use by employees both during and outside of work continues to divide employers over its risks and rewards. In this session we will be tabling the potential benefits and risks of social media usage by employees, before opening it up to a wider debate and audience participation and drawing on real life scenarios.

The event is aimed at business leaders, senior managers, and in-house HR professionals.

By attending the event you will:

  • Hear about some of the rewards and risks that are associated with employees and use of social media
  • Learn what other organisations do to educate and manage social media usage by employees, that may impact their business
  • Listen to ideas from other organisations as to how social media has positively impacted their employee engagement, communication, recruitment success and productivity…..
  • Get insights from experienced HR and employment law practitioners
  • Be able to participate in our debate about its benefits and risks, and how these can be educated and managed
  • Gain ideas to support your employees and leadership team with social media and its usage

Businesses do vary in their attitudes towards social media and its use by employees – some may embrace it whilst others simply avoid exploring it.  We hope to share some key thoughts from the HR & employment law perspectives on this, and importantly engage guests in debating this subject and sharing their insights.

A light breakfast and refreshments will be provided, and there will be ample time to ask questions and to network with other business guests and the Outset team.

Please note that we are hosting the event at nearby KIMS Hospital, which also has ample free onsite parking.
