When away from work, what do you enjoy doing?

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter. As my husband is a Mechanic, I often get roped into fixing/servicing our fleet (you could call it a fleet!) of vehicles. Our daughter assists with passing the tools so is also learning!

We also enjoy going camping, visiting family/friends and going on odd days out to the farm, park etc.

I’m not one to sit and chill so you’ll often find me doing DIY and gardening (in amongst my other long list of jobs) when I should be relaxing.

What is your favourite book or movie?

The Unmumsy Mum (book) – makes you feel better about those occasions when you feel you’ve made a faux pas as a Mummy.

Describe an interesting fact about yourself?

I’m always keen to try my hand at new things – DIY (recently tiled the kitchen,  re-felted the shed roof and used a mini digger to dig the foundations to our garage); extreme activities (jumped off The Stratosphere and shot an AK47 at a gun range in Las Vegas) and scuba diving (I’m an Advanced PADA Diver).

When you were a child what did you want to be when you grew up?

An Architect. Unfortunately, Physics was not my forte so whilst I could draw pretty buildings, they were unlikely to stand the test of time.
