This is Emily’s first full time position since leaving school, and she brings her passion for IT to Outset as our IT Support Apprentice. Emily is currently studying for the Level 3 IT Professional Apprenticeship, alongside supporting the group with all IT related matters.

When away from work, what do you enjoy doing?

Music is a huge part of my life; I am a real metal head, to say the least.

I quite literally cannot go a day without listening to my favourite bands. I always need a concert lined up because that's what I look forward to the most. Also, I am a hard-core nerd! TV and films, video games, conventions, you name it I love it! In fact, my bio picture is of me cosplaying as the Black Widow for London Comic Con!

What is your favourite book or movie?

Patrick Ness 'More than this' is an incredible thought-provoking thriller about how technology could alter the human race.

Describe an interesting fact about yourself?

Outset is my first job since leaving college in April '17.

When you were a child what did you want to be when you grew up?

When I was younger, I wanted to be a rock star!
