When away from work, what do you enjoy doing?

I love adventures with my family, big or small.  The kids have lots of interesting ideas, from fossil hunting to my eldest buying pet chickens with his birthday money.  ‘Chorizo and Bacon’ are now much loved members of the family, whom my eldest hopes to ‘show’ next year.

‘Grown up time’ is ideally spent enjoying long evenings indulging in good food and good company.  Nothing heals like a great laugh and a good dance with friends!

I’m also a keen baker (which has kept our builders very happy over the last 9 months) and periodically dabble with art and amateur photography when I get the chance.

My perfect holidays are skiing in Lech, Constantine Bay in Cornwall or soaking up the sun in the South of France with friends.

What is your favourite book or movie?

I particularly enjoyed the Shardlake series by CJ Sansom, I also love pretty much anything written by Bernard Cornwell.

Describe an interesting fact about yourself?

Although I knew I wanted to be lawyer from my mid teens, I decided that I first wanted to go to Art School and study Theology – and had a great time doing both.

When you were a child what did you want to be when you grew up?

Prime Minister or a vet (though I no longer have the stomach for either...)
