Lorraine has been with Outset since 2004. With a depth of employment law experience plus a commercial background, she is well placed to provide strong practical and commercial advice on all aspects of this area. Lorraine has frequently dealt with TUPE transfers and provision of employment law support in relation to business acquisitions and disposals. Lorraine works for a diverse range of clients with a particular emphasis on owner managed businesses.

When away from work, what do you enjoy doing?
Outside of work I like adventure activities such as ski-ing, hill-walking, cycling and via-ferrata (protected climbing routes in the Alps, mainly Italy, Austria and Germany, sometimes referred to as Klettersteigs). I also practice pilates to make sure the body can perform when required!
On the more leisurely side I can usually be found pottering in the garden or the kitchen having mini bake-offs with my husband as to who can create the best dinner! I also enjoy watching the athletics and tennis.

Sliding Doors...true romantic at heart!

In addition to the above, I have many other talents from ballroom dancing to tank driving.
When you were a child what did you want to be when you grew up?
A chef...But I don’t like the heat so wouldn’t cope very well in a hot kitchen.
